Aaron Schomberg - Vice Principal
Aaron Schomberg, Vice Principal
Hello Cubs,
My name is Aaron Schomberg, and it is my pleasure to be the Vice Principal of Don Callejon School. I have spent the majority of my life in the Bay Area, and currently live with my wife and two daughters in San Jose. I attended college at CSU Chico, where I earned a B.S. in Recreation Administration. Later, I attended National University in San Jose, were I earned my teaching credential. After teaching for several years in Santa Clara Unified, I attended San Jose State University, where I earned my M.A. in Educational Leadership.
Prior to coming to Don Callejon, I taught for 15 years in Santa Clara Unified. During the school year, I worked at Peterson Middle School, where I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I taught the majority of subjects at Peterson, and was the Math Department Chair, on the Peterson Steering Committee, and was acting Administrator, when the Admin. team was off site. During the summers, I taught Elementary and Middle school summer programs, was the Vice Principal at DCS summer program and was a cooperating teacher with the Stanford University STEP program.
I look forward to bringing my experience in the district, to Don Callejon. I am excited to work with the students, staff, and the amazing community, who make Don Callejon a great school. I value feedback, and would be happy to answer questions regarding our school, or the district. Please feel free to contact me at aschomberg@scusd.net
Sincerely,
Aaron Schomberg
